Reviews:
* The 2014 Chevrolet Captiva Sport Fleet is a mid-size SUV that can seat 5 passengers. It has a modern look, with exciting lines and more than a little sportiness to its overall appearance. It is sold in 4 trims: LS W/1LS, LS W/2LS, LT, and LTZ. All come standard with a 2.4-Liter, 4-Cylinder Engine with 182 Horsepower. It is equipped with a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission with ECO mode, and is Front-Wheel Drive. Chevrolet has taken fuel economy into account as well, as it gets an EPA estimated 22 MPG City and 28 MPG Highway. For the comfort of you and your passengers, Chevrolet has given the Captiva a Soft Ride Suspension. Standard safety features on all trims are 4-Wheel Disc Anti-lock Brakes, as well as the StabiliTrak Stability Control System with Traction Control. To help set your mind at ease should you ever run into trouble on the road, OnStar is there. OnStar gives you 6-months Directions & Connections Plan with Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Plus, a rearview camera system is available on all trims. The interior of the Captiva Sport Fleet is fresh looking and modern, yet the controls are easily accessible. The standard radio is AM FM CD with MP3 playback and Auxiliary and USB inputs. However, if you decide to splurge for the top of the line LTZ, prepare to be immersed in the experience of a 10-speaker system. Deluxe Bucket Seats in front are standard, however the LTZ is again an option if you wanted leather seats, as well as heated seats for the driver and front passenger. Plus, get plenty of storage space with a maximum volume of 56.4 cubic feet. The 2014 Chevrolet Captiva Sport Fleet not only looks great, it is fun to drive as well. Come down today and experience it for yourself. Source: The Manufacturer Summary

Was looking for the right size for daily commuting, shopping, trips...and taking my elderly mother to appointments- she can get in and out easily, comfortable ride and room for her walker. This was our biggest desire as our prior vehicles were difficult for her. Great on every point and the fuel economy a huge plus!!!
  • Very satisfied wish they still made them.

We bought this car as a fleet car with 13000 miles on it. Have owned it for 3 years and put 60000 more trouble free miles on it. Rides like most small to mid sized SUVs. Only complaint I would give is that the smaller 4 cylinder engine is a little noisy getting up to speed but once you are up to speed it is very quiet on the highway.

My car is pretty solid so far. It's a decent price for a cross over. It's not too big like a SUV. It's fairly comfortable for day to day activities but not all that great for long drives. The passenger seat/area is not made for big guys (6'1 or more is a tight fit!) for a long drive. The cargo area is roomy and the back seats lay flat if you ever want to camp/sleep back there. It is great around town but the darn engine is TOO SMALL for it in general. Meaning in town you are fairly ok but on the freeway/highway it screams to keep up and you have GOT to be careful when passing to make sure you have plenty of room and power to get by them because this car does NOT zoom. The engine size is my only sincere complaint and it would keep me from buying another one. I LOVE Chevy products and this is a great car in town or for peeps who don't need to zoom around. :-) Lastly, you have to be careful with sales people with these -- they sometimes try to sell these at/near/too close to the Equinox and other higher class cross over prices. Check KBB for your local prices and be armed with info before you look. Knowledge is power! :-)
