How Does a Car’s Air Conditioner Work?
Learning how to fix a car AC unit not blowing hot air starts with understanding how this system works during your Frankfort rides. Many Chicago drivers assume their air conditioning immediately blows cold air on the spot. However, that’s not the case.
Your car’s AC takes moisture and heat from the air circulating in your cabin. A chemical known as “refrigerant” is vital to your cooling process and is important to recharge the AC in your car.
How Do I Recharge the AC in My Car?
Most often, all you’ll need to do is address your vehicle’s refrigerant. Remember that your car’s AC system has multiple components, including a compressor, serpentine belts, hoses, etc. If one of these parts is not working or worn out, you might need more serious repairs.
