Audi Service Schedule

Before we proceed with our recommended Audi service schedule, bear in mind that the Audi Q5 service schedule may differ from the Audi Q7 service schedule, and so forth. The Audi maintenance schedule recommendations that follow apply to Audi models built in 2017 or later. You can use them as general guidelines, but we always recommend reaching out to our service techs or checking your owner’s manual for specifics. The schedule is divided up into minor maintenance intervals that reoccur every 10,000 miles and co-occur with the standard maintenance intervals that only occur every 20,000 miles:

Minor Maintenance Intervals (Every 10K)  

  • Engine oil and oil filter - Change oil and replace filter.
  • Inspection - Perform a multi-point inspection.
  • Brake system - Check the thickness of the brake pads.
  • Tire repair kit - Check and record the completeness and expiration date (if equipped).
  • Service reminder indicator display - Reset display.

Standard Maintenance Intervals (Every 20K)  

  • Body/chassis - Inspect visually for possible corrosion and paint damage. 
  • Brake system - Check for leaks and damage, as well as the condition of brake hoses and the presence of the bleeder caps; also, examine brake pad thickness.
  • Door hinges (including door stay) and door latch - Lubricate hinges.
  • Engine cooling system - Check freeze protection and coolant level.
  • Engine oil and oil filter - Change oil and replace filter.
  • Engine, transmission, final drive, steering (with front noise insulation removed) - Inspect visually for leaks and damage (including visible HV components of PHEV vehicles).
  • Exterior lighting function - Check front and rear lights, high beams, low beams, turn signals, cornering lights, brake lights, reverse lights, license plate lights, fog lights, and hazard warning lights.
  • Headlights - Check adjustment.
  • Instrument cluster - Check warning and indicator lights 
  • Interior lights - Test all interior lights, trunk lights, and glove box compartment illumination.
  • Inspection - Perform a multi-point inspection.  
  • Oil fill area - Check water drain.
  • Performance test - Perform a road test.
  • Safety belts - Check the function and condition of belts, belt tongues, and latches.
  • Service reminder indicator display - Reset display.
  • Spare tire (if equipped) - Assess condition and tire inflation pressure; adjust if necessary.
  • Spoiler - Lubricate the rear spoiler.
  • Sunroof and panoramic sunroof systems - Check function (if equipped).
  • Suspension and axle components (front and rear) - Check dust seals on ball joints and tie rod ends; check for excessive play.
  • Tires - Check condition and tire tread wear; check and record the tread depth. Check tire inflation pressure and adjust if necessary.
  • Tire repair kit (if equipped) - Check and record the completeness and expiration date.
  • Underbody - Check for damage and leaks; check that the wheel well liners, underbody. paneling, and all lines are properly mounted (including visible HV components of PHEV vehicles).
  • Warning triangle and first aid kit (if equipped) - Check if present.
  • Windshield washer and headlight washing system - Add fluid if necessary and confirm proper performance.
  • Wiper blades - Check condition and replace if necessary.
